(Minister) Marriage8 March 1683Thomas Minor performed the marriage ceremony of John Bolton and Sarah Chesebrough on 8 March 1683 and recorded the event in his diary. "The ffirst moneth is march, hath .31. days.... .1683.... and Thursday the .8. day I was at the mill and maried John bolten, Rezident in stoneington, and sarah Cheesbrough of the same towne...."2,3  
Death*23 October 1690He died on 23 October 1690 in Stonington, Connecticut, at age 82.1 
Burial*Thomas and Grace (Palmer) Minor were both buried in Wequetequock Cemetery, Stonington. Their grave was covered by a "wolfstone", consisting of a large granite slab which it is believed he selected for the purpose from his own field. On one side of the stone an inscription read: "Here lyeth the body of Lieutenant Thomas Minor, aged 83 years. Departed 1690". His wife, Grace, who died just two months after her husband, was buried beside Thomas, and the opposite side of the stone was inscribed for her.1

They were able to reach the fort, but died there of their wounds. Their children were taken to Bridgewater where they were brought up by their uncle Edward.4

Division of Cattle*22 May 1627Experience Mitchell appeared with other members of his future father-in-law Francis Cooke's household and "company" on the document commonly known as the 1627 "Division of Cattle" and dated 22 May 1627 in Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts (Plymouth Colony). The document was a complete list of all the residents of Plymouth as of May 1627 and divided them into 12 “lots,” with 13 people per lot sharing the use of one cow or calf and two goats. Families were generally kept together within each lot, and single men were listed throughout. In some places on the original document, names were scribbled in where newborns were included with the rest of their family. (Son) King Philip's War1675At the beginning of King Philip's War in 1675, Jacob's parents, Jacob and Susanna Mitchell, were attacked by Indians early in the morning as they were going to the fort where they had sent their three children the afternoon before. They were able to reach the fort, but died there of their wounds. Their children were taken to Bridgewater where they were brought up by their uncle Edward Mitchell.1
