Mitchell's Early Bridgewater History states that the Eunice Leach who married William Keith in 1767 was the daughter of Benjamin and Hepzibah Washburn. However, William Keith's wife Eunice Leach was born, according to her noted age at death, about 1749 and Hepzibah (Washburn) Leach, who died in 1750, would have been in her mid to late 60s and probably past her child-bearing years by 1749.1
