His eldest sister Elizabeth Hooper and her husband Hezekiah Hooper of Bridgewater, blacksmith, and his second sister Susanna Leonard and her husband Samuel Whitman also of Bridgewater sold to their brother Solomon Leonard of Bridgewater, all rights to the homestead which Solomon Leonard of Bridgewater, gentleman, deceased, died seized of, reserving to the widow, their mother, her dower. Solomon's mother, Elizabeth (Perkins) Leonard, in exchange for the dower set off to her, yielded any rights to the remainder on 11 December 1761. And then on 9 May 1765, their youngest sister Experience Leonard who was still unmarried, sold to her brother Solomon Leonard all her rights to their deceased father's land, except for her mother's widow's thirds. The deed was acknowledged on 30 October 1765.4

(Defendant) Court ActionJohn Bolton, Daniel Alden and Joseph Alden filed a complaint with the Plymouth County Court of General Sessions requesting that relief be granted to each of them as provided by the law regulating mills. The complainants said that in late 1730, Benjamin Hayward and Zachariah Whitman raised a pond on the Town River in Bridgewater and caused considerable damage to their grass, and "that the trespass is yearly continued." The court ordered Hayward and Whitman to show cause why they have continued to flow the complainants’' meadow.4

(Daughter) Census US 188023 June 1880Lida was enumerated on the 1880 census taken on 23 June 1880 in the household of her parents in Cresswell, Cowley County, Kansas. She was 10 years old and had attended school within the census year.5 
Marriage*21 June 1905She married, as his second wife, Thomas W. Hawkins, son of George William Hawkins and Ann Eliza Priest, on 21 June 1905 in Arkansas City, Cowley County, Kansas. The newspaper reported that they were married in the home of Lida's parents and that the ceremony was performed by the Reverend Edgar A. Sherrod of the Episcopal Church who used the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony. There were only a few persons present, including the members of the family and one or two invited guests. Immediately after the ceremony was over a wedding supper was served and then the happy couple departed on the Santa Fe for Kansas City for a few days visit before returning to Arkansas City where they planned to live, for the present, with the bride's parents. The newspaper announcement of their married concluded with, "Both Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins are well known in this city and the Traveler unites with many friends in wishing them a long and happy life."1,2 
Census US 1910*29 April 1910Lida and Thomas W. Hawkins were enumerated on the 1910 census taken on 29 April 1910 in Devol, Comanche County, Oklahoma. Thomas was 44 years of age and a general merchant and employer, and Lida was 38 years of age. They rented their home which as on a farm, had been married for 6 years, his second marriage, her first, and Lida had given birth to no children. Thomas's daughter from his first marriage was enumerated with them in 1910. She was recorded as "Marguerite", was 15 years old and had attended school within the census year.3 
Census US 1920*3 January 1920Lida and T. W. Hawkins were enumerated on the 1920 census taken on 3 January 1920 on Broadway Street, Elk, Beckham County, Oklahoma. Thomas was 54 years of age and no longer working, and Lida was 47 years of age. They owned their house free of mortgage.7 
Census US 1930*3 April 1930Lida and Tom W. Hawkins were enumerated on the 1930 census taken on 3 April 1930 at 1607 South Eighth Street, Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma. Tom was 65 years of age and retired, and Lida was 60 years of age. They owned their house which was valued at $6,500 and was not on a farm, and also owned a radio set.8 
Census US 1940*3 April 1940Lida and Thomas W. Hawkins were enumerated on the 1940 census taken on 3 April 1940 at 1607 Eighth Street, Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma. Thomas was 74 years of age and retired with other sources of income, and Lida was 69 years of age. They owned their home, which was valued at $5,000, and both had completed their education through the 4th year of high school.9 
(Wife) Death27 July 1943Lida became a widow when Thomas W. Hawkins died on 27 July 1943 at age 78.10
