Also residing with the family was Wiley's widowed mother, Susannah Smith, who was 60 years of age. No one in the household had attended school within the census year and Deborah and Susannah, both over 20 years of age, could neither read nor write.2

Sarah's youngest son, Henry Clement Notcutt, who was 6 years old, was enumerated in Northampton, Northamptonshire, in the home of Fanny M. Norris, a teacher who reported Henry as her nephew. His mother Sarah's occupation as a visitor in the Rose household was recorded as "companion". Charlotte Rose was 49 years of age, unmarried, and an annuitant. A general servant, Sarah Furren, age 20, was also enumerated in the Rose household in 1871.5

Thomas was 53 years of age and a Baptist Minister, and Sarah was 55 years of age. Two of Thomas's children and one of Sarah's resided in the Michael household in 1881. Fred H. Michael was 16 years old and an art student pupil and his sister Ethilda M. Michael was 13 years old and a scholar. Sarah's son, Henry C. Notcutt, was 16 years old and a pupil teacher, which may have meant he was a tutor. Also enumerated in the Michael household in 1881 was Thomas's sister, Hannah (Michael) Saunders, who was 51 years of age, married, and an assistant housekeeper. The final person enumerated with the family that year was Mary A. Watson, age 19, who worked as a general servant.7 
(Mother) Census England 18915 April 1891Sarah was enumerated with her husband, Thomas Michael, on the 1891 census taken as of the night of 5 April 1891 in the household of her son, Henry Clement Notcutt, in 38 Harbut Road, London, Battersea, England. She was 65 years of age.8 
(Wife) Death8 January 1893Sarah became a widow for the second time when Thomas Michael died on 8 January 1893 at about age 65.9

(Negro woman) Will25 March 1747The will of the Reverend Benjamin Colman dated 25 March 1747 in Boston described Violet as his Negro woman. His will stated that Violet was currently living with and serving his sister Elizabeth Righton in her old age, and that his will was that Violet continue to serve his sister while she lived. His will asked God to give his Grace to Violet, and to his Negro man Boston. He left both of his slaves in Trust with his Executors to dispose of as seemed best to them.1 
(Negro woman) Inventory18 September 1747 On 18 September 1747 the Inventory of the estate of the Reverend Benjamin Colman was filed with Judge Edward Hutchinson in Boston. Reverend Colman owned two slaves; his Negro man Boston was appraised at £300, and his Negro woman Violet at £220.1
