Jackson was 31 years of age and a farmer, and Rosey was age 21 and keeping house. The couple's daughter, Elizabeth, was one year old. We note that the surname of everyone in the household was spelled "Lankford". After the deaths of both of Jackson's parents, the four minor Langford children were split up to live with various relatives in Bureau County. Two of Jackson's brothers, Richard and Ellsworth, who were ages 19 and 17 years, respectively, and had both attended school within the census year, were enumerated in Greenville with their married brother Jackson and his family in 1880. Their youngest brother, Willie, who was 15 years old, was with the children's maternal grandparents, Mary and Richard Brewer, in Walnut, Bureau County. Willie had attended school within the census year and also worked as a farm laborer. The brothers' youngest sister, Ethel, who was 7 years old, was enumerated with a married sister and her husband, Eliza and John Charles Wolfe, in Walnut, Bureau County. We've not been able to find their brother John, who was 24 years of age in 1880 and not yet married.4

William, Florence and Dorothy Young were ages 12, 11 and 7 years, respectively, and had all attended school within the census year. The couple's baby daughter, Betty Moore, was ten months old.11

Everyone in the family, including little Lloyd, was recorded as being able to read, write and speak English, and no one in the family had attended school within the census year.2

George was 49 years of age and no occupation was recorded for him, and Annie was 46 years of age. They rented their house, had been married for 27 years, the first marriage for each, and Annie had given birth to six children, four of whom were living and three of them were listed on the "Supplemental" page. Agnes was 19 years old; Olen was age 10 and had attended school within the census year; and Georgia was age 8 and had also attended school within the census year. The couple's daughter, Maud, had married about 1906 and was divorced by 1910 and living in Denver, Colorado.3,4 
Census US 1920*2 January 1920Anna and George W. Seely were enumerated on the 1920 census taken on 2 January 1920 at 832 Struthers Avenue, Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado. George was recorded as 53 years of age, although he was actually about age 61, and worked as a laborer in a railroad depot, and Anna was 55 years of age. They owned their house with a mortgage, and only their two youngest children were enumerated with them in 1920.
